A new beginning…

When I started Considering the Fields over a year ago I had great visions of regular/daily posts with deals that I had found to share with readers.  As I blogged and found deals I realized that there are TONS of bloggers that are already providing these posts, actually they are able to make multiple posts a day with hired staff’s help.  I didn’t want to simply be redundant to the other (much larger) deal blogs or compete with the review blogs so I simply started posting less and less.  With Husband, two little ones, and an adoption process on my plate I simply don’t have the time to devote to be one of the top blogs.  For those of you who were faithfully following and checking the blog, I’m sorry to have disappeared so completely!

After taking some time off I realized I really do love Considering the Fields and sharing “fantastic finds”.  As much as a good deal gets my adrenaline pumping,  I’ve also come to see that fantastic finds can be so much more!  Pinterest has opened a new world to amazing recipes, homemaking helps, and parenting encouragements!  Granted some things are amazing and others…well, should probably stay buried on the world wide web.  Sometimes it might be that of the wise words from my almost 4- year-old.

All this to say, Considering the Fields is back!  Perhaps it will be a bit different than before but I hope you will find yourself saving a penny here and there, find a few tips, recipes and what not to make life a bit sweeter, and generally that you will be encouraged.  As I was reminded by a sweet day with my kiddos, as good as life may be here, I pray it ultimately is making me long for Heaven as “better is one day in [His] courts than thousands elsewhere”!
