Tomorrow, June 1st, is National Donut Day! I can’t say I’ve been counting down the days but it does rank as a favorite day of the year. You see, my heart skips a beat when I see the “Hot Now” sign ablaze in the Krispy Kreme window. It’s really quite a blessing we don’t live closer to our local Krispy Kreme or there could be some serious lessons in self control needed. All this to say, tomorrow is National Donut Day!
What does this mean practically?! Many donut shops, including Krispy Kremes, are participating to offer customers a little celebratory donut enjoyment.
Participating Krispy Kreme locations in the US and Canada will be giving customers a FREE donut tomorrow! We went as a family last year and you simply walk in and tell them what kind of donut you’d like. That simple. Then enjoy! Plus, makes for a fun family outing at no cost to you!
Dunkin Donuts will be offering customers a FREE donut WITH PURCHASE of any Dunkin beverage. If you already plan to purchase a drink, then not bad. I personally will stick with Krispy Kreme. 
If you are privlidged to have other donut shops in your locale, then I’d recommend calling before going to see if they will be offering anything in celebration of National Donut Day. Enjoy!
