Chevrolet is again hosting customer Appreciation Days at Hershey Park in PA for Chevy owners this year. You can request up to 4 free passes per household (retail value of $56.95/ticket!) to be used on July 7th, July 28th, and August 25th. This offer in the past has been limited to PA and surrounding states (NY, WV, VA, DC, NJ, DE, MD) residents. You will be required to enter a unique registration code that you have received in the mail, so have it ready. Yay for free family fun!
Tomorrow, June 1st, is National Donut Day! I can’t say I’ve been counting down the days but it does rank as a favorite day of the year. You see, my heart skips a beat when I see the “Hot Now” sign ablaze in the Krispy Kreme window. It’s really quite a blessing we don’t live closer to our local Krispy Kreme or there could be some serious lessons in self control needed. All this to say, tomorrow is National Donut Day!
What does this mean practically?! Many donut shops, including Krispy Kremes, are participating to offer customers a little celebratory donut enjoyment.
Participating Krispy Kreme locations in the US and Canada will be giving customers a FREE donut tomorrow! We went as a family last year and you simply walk in and tell them what kind of donut you’d like. That simple. Then enjoy! Plus, makes for a fun family outing at no cost to you!
Dunkin Donuts will be offering customers a FREE donut WITH PURCHASE of any Dunkin beverage. If you already plan to purchase a drink, then not bad. I personally will stick with Krispy Kreme. 
If you are privlidged to have other donut shops in your locale, then I’d recommend calling before going to see if they will be offering anything in celebration of National Donut Day. Enjoy!
Wayfair.com currently has the BOB Revolution SE stroller in Black for $340 with free 2 day shipping. This price is comparable to Amazon, however, when you use the coupon code M1UY5 or V3VX1 the price drops to $306.89! I’ve rarely seen these strollers go for so low and the resale value is quite high. If you are in the market for this stroller, I’d say this is certainly a deal. Do note that it looks like these codes may expire today and there is limited stock. We personally don’t have this stroller but I hear it’s the Cadillac of strollers.

Wildflowers from Winter is Katie Ganshert’s debut novel. Fiction books are often a respite for my mind. Not just from the non-fiction that tends to crowd the bookshelves these days but also from life in general. I find sweet enjoyment by a good writer who tells a captivating story but also makes me feel like I’m friends with the characters of the book. I am sorry to say that for the first half of Wildflowers I was not loving the main character, Bethany. In fact, I was really having a hard time finding much to like about the main character. The book begins “The summer I turned twelve, I tried to kill myself.” Frankly, at this point I was unsure if I wanted to continuing reading it.
